Janice Wheeler
Born in Alice, Texas and raised in numerous locations, including an oil camp outside of Bishop, TX and Fort Worth, TX, Janice eventually landed with her parents in Littleton, CO, where she graduated from Arapahoe High School. Soon after graduation, she attended Fort Lewis College in Durango, CO and received her B.S. in Geology. Upon completing her degree, Janice built her professional career in fine jewelry and in the labs of Dowell Schlumberger, an oil field service company. Wanting to grow with technology, Janice then became certified in business computer programming.
After receiving her certificate in programming, Janice moved to Boerne to be near her parents in 1993, and subsequently joined HCFS in 1995. During her tenure at HCFS, Janice has performed nearly every job at the agency: reception, program manager, temporary executive director, and now Director of Operations.
